You're at least 18 years old and want to become a tutor in the freshers week for the student council of Mathematics/Physics/Computer Science in SoSe 26? You're in the right place!
Your responsibilities include taking care of a group of around 15-25 freshers during this week. You'll be the first point of contact for any questions about studying, the university, or the city. Together with another tutor, you'll accompany your group to the fresher week events (pub night, rally, project days, ...) and help them get started with RWTHmoodle and RWTHOnline, support them in registering for their lectures and tutorials, and most importantly, make sure they have a great time.
Above all, openness, enjoyment in working with people, and a sense of responsibility. Also, unless you've already been a tutor in recent years, you are required to attend a tutor training session. If you've named a co-tutor: It's not necessary for you both to attend the same training.
The freshers week takes place from April 7 – 10, 2026. Tutor training sessions run from 09:45 to around 16:00 and are held on the following dates:
